From his daughter Angela’s public Facebook post: “He loved to travel and try new things. I was thinking of all the things that we had done together just since his 70th birthday. They included parasailing, riding in a helicopter, scuba diving, and riding the new Stars Wars ride at Disney World. He got to see 29 Palms and visit Knott’s Berry Farm in December, two lifelong dreams to learn more about things his grandfather has done as a homesteader in the 1940s and 50s in California. He was talking about sky diving for his 80th birthday that would have been March 2024. In July 2016, he hiked 64 miles on the St. Cuthbert’s Pilgrimage in England and Scotland in a little over a week.”
He was a kind, generous, dedicated, wonderful human who will be greatly missed.
